Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. We have a strong in-house group of field technicians that services top U.S. corporations and are supported by top notch managers in our offices. CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: SALES ASSOCIATE LOCATION: Punta Gorda, FL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As a sales manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, closing, and maintaining customers. A customer-focused attitude is a must. At our growing company, you will be a key contributor to the company's success. We are looking for team players who can work well with others, and who can develop relationships with customers of all sizes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new business opportunities and grow accounts.
- Follow up with customers, maintain good relationships.
- Meet or exceed predetermined sales goals.
- Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients
- Prepare sales proposals and sales contracts for orders
- Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
- Understand and promote company programs
- Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Maintain client records
- Monitor developments in the EV charging market, providing recommendations to meet customer needs
- Stay updated on market trends, providing insights, reports and forecasts to management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service or related field
- Familiarity with and understanding of the EV and/or HVAC industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation tactics.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Analytical thinking with a strategic approach to business planning
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- College education a plus
- Team player mindset
