Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Administering respiratory therapies to patients across various service lines, including Adult and NICU/Pediatric units
• Operating equipment such as GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient care in critical care units
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records using Cerner EMR

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NRP certification preferred
