Product Marketing Manager | Series A AI | San Mateo - 3 x days a week onsite $180-$220k Excellent benefits and equity This role is with a fast-growing Series A "AI" startup that is building a genuinely new category within enterprise software. They’ve already landed some major enterprise customers, are backed by Tier 1 investors, and are now looking for a Product Marketer to help shape how they tell their story and take the product to market. This is a broad, hands-on PMM role. You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing across positioning and messaging, product launches, competitive strategy, sales enablement, customer research, and content. There’s a lot to build, and a lot of ownership. We’d ideally love to find someone who has marketed products across Data, Analytics, BI, or AI, particularly where the end users and buyers are highly technical. However, we’re absolutely open to someone from a highly technical software background, developer tooling, infrastructure, cloud, APIs, observability, or similar, if you can demonstrate that you’ve taken complex technology and turned it into simple, compelling positioning and messaging. You’ll probably be a good fit if you: Have 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B software Have marketed technical or complex products Understand how to build positioning and messaging around the customer, rather than just features Have owned product launches and GTM campaigns Can create strong sales enablement and competitive content Are comfortable speaking directly with customers and using those conversations to shape messaging Enjoy early-stage environments where you’re expected to get stuck in rather than stay inside a narrow job description You don’t need to tick every box. Data and Analytics experience would be fantastic, but technical depth, strong product instincts, and the ability to tell a complicated story simply are more important.
