About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Core C++ Low Latency Development, with the potential to take on a CTO role. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 10 to 20 people in the development of algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies across various financial instruments. This is a key position that requires a deep understanding of C++ low latency trading to ensure the team is at the forefront of technology and can deliver optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ low latency trading, with experience in leading and managing a development team. Responsibilities include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the core trading system, as well as ensuring the team's work aligns with the firm's trading strategies. The role demands a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and the ability to make critical decisions to enhance the system's performance and reliability. The Head of Core C++ Low Latency Development will also be involved in the recruitment and training of team members, and must be adept at fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
