Customer Service Representative (On-Site)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: On-Site

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers while working with quality home improvement products.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support through phone, email, web requests, fax, and in-person interactions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to handle inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer calls and emails regarding products and services in a professional and timely manner.

• Gather information to accurately diagnose and resolve customer concerns.

• Process service requests and schedule service appointments based on product, labor, and customer requirements.

• Provide customer quotes and order necessary service parts.

• Research and troubleshoot product-related issues.

• Maintain accurate customer records and update files after each customer interaction.

• Research parts needed to support customer inquiries.

• Enter credit requests for warranty-related parts orders.

• Resolve customer complaints and collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Order Fulfillment, Technical Support, and Corporate Support when necessary.

• Manage varying call volumes, which are typically higher on Mondays and during peak seasons.

Required QualificationsMust-Have Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of product knowledge experience in one of the following industries:

• Window and door manufacturing/distribution

• Paint industry

• Home improvement

• Furniture retail

• Proven ability to de-escalate customer concerns and provide high-level customer service.

• Working knowledge of:

• Microsoft Word

• Excel

• Outlook

• PowerPoint

• Strong communication skills with a friendly, adaptable, and patient approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Call center experience

• Dispatching experience

• Salesforce experience

• Logistics or scheduling experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
