Cisco Voice / Telecom Deployment Technician

We are seeking two onsite Cisco Voice / Telecom Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale phone and technology deployment. These roles are ideal for hands-on telecom professionals who combine strong Cisco voice experience with excellent customer service skills.

You will work directly with deployment technicians and end users to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco phones and related voice technologies. A key part of the role is supporting employees as they move into new workspaces and adopt new technology, so patience, professionalism, and the ability to communicate clearly with nontechnical users are essential.

Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $32–$38 per hour
  • Location: Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Employment Type: Contract

Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), ideally version 14 , and Cisco IP phones.
  • Experience with Cisco Jabber and Unity in an enterprise voice environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot analog devices, gateways, cross-connects, and related telecom infrastructure .
  • Experience working with ServiceNow for incidents, requests, or deployment activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco phones in an onsite environment.
  • Perform Cisco Unified Communications Manager updates and support phone configuration changes.
  • Troubleshoot paging/access changes, analog devices, cross-connects, and voice gateways.
  • Support Cisco Jabber and Unity-related voice functionality.
  • Provide responsive, high-touch support to employees during workspace and technology transitions.
  • Track and manage support activities using ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with deployment technicians and other technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support a large deployment environment involving hundreds to thousands of phones.
