Key Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and developing customized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, preventive practices, and illness management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within the bounds of your practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions

• Maintaining meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Wisconsin
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
