Event Producer
New York City, New York
About Us
Dorsia is at the forefront of hospitality-tech innovation, redefining how the world gains access to the most in-demand restaurants, events, and experiences. By fusing cutting-edge technology with the art of luxury hospitality, we empower our members to secure impossible-to-get reservations while providing operators with unprecedented levels of control, visibility, and revenue optimization.
In 2025, we grew revenue 480% and scaled to 400+ venues across 25 destinations, with the launch of our Culture Calendar extending Dorsia beyond restaurants into the world's most sought-after cultural moments.
Backed by $54M in funding from investors including Index Ventures, Invus, and Red Sea Ventures, and strategic partners including MoonPay, Major Food Group, and The Dinex Group - Daniel Boulud, we are entering our most consequential phase of growth and reshaping the global hospitality landscape. We're adding exceptional talent to drive what comes next, and that's where you come in.
About the Role
The Event Producer will own the full production lifecycle of Dorsia's events, from intimate member dinners to large-scale brand moments, bringing ambitious concepts to life with precision, taste, and operational rigor. This is a hands-on production role for someone who lives in the details; someone who can wire a run-of-show, negotiate a vendor contract, spec out an AV setup, and build an event calendar all in the same week.
You'll serve as the connective tissue between Brand, Partnerships, Membership, and external production companies, ensuring every event meets Dorsia's standards for quality, taste, and member experience.
What You'll Do
Event Production & Execution
- Own end-to-end production for Dorsia events, from concept handoff through post-event wrap.
- Produce events across a range of scales, from curated dinners to full multi-vendor productions with staging, lighting, and live programming.
- Translate creative concepts and brand vision into detailed production plans, run-of-show documents, and timelines.
- Oversee all on-site execution, including load-in, show flow, guest experience, and strike.
- Build and maintain a forward-looking event calendar, managing sequencing, lead times, and resource allocation across simultaneous productions.
- Own post-event recaps, learnings, and recommendations to continuously improve future executions.
Vendor & Production Partner Management
- Act as primary point of contact between Dorsia and external production teams, vendors, and freelancers.
- Scope, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts including AV, staging, lighting, fabrication, dcor, staffing, security, and catering.
- Ensure production partners deliver on scope, budget, timeline, and brand expectations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues onsite with confidence.
Budgeting & Operations
- Own event production budgets, tracking spend, and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Track spend in real time and proactively flag risks to financial goals.
- Identify opportunities to scale production efficiently without compromising quality.
- Manage production schedules, asset tracking, and logistics across multiple events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Brand Marketing, Partnerships, Membership, and Comms to align event goals and storytelling.
- Work closely with internal creative teams to ensure physical environments reflect Dorsia's aesthetic and tone.
- Collaborate with Membership and Ops teams to ensure guest experience and hospitality execution are seamless.
Experience & Quality Control
- Act as a steward of the Dorsia brand in physical spaces, ensuring events feel premium, intentional, and thoughtfully curated
- Anticipate risks and proactively problem-solve in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
The Winning Recipe
- 610 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, or live events.
- Experience producing large-scale, high-production events with hands-on knowledge of AV, lighting, sound, and staging.
- Proven ability building and owning an event calendar with multiple concurrent work streams.
- Experience managing six-figure+ event budgets.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Strong taste level and instinct for premium hospitality, culture, and brand environments.
- Willing to be hands-on, no task is too small when it comes to event execution.

Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia
At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization.
In-Person Matters
We're creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn't happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That's why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia.
Who We Hire
We don't subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn't demographics, it's a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard.
Lifestyle Hours
We're not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party.
High Performance Culture
Working at Dorsia isn't for everyoneand that's the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember.
A Final Word
We're building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It's not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you'll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that's the kind of work worth your life's energy.
