Registered Nurse - Med Surg Neuro Nights

This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts scheduled as 4x12-hour from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Neuro unit. The position requires expertise in providing exceptional patient care and an ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
Perform assessments, assist with diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
Manage IVs, blood products, and various medical equipment.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required.
BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred.
Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
Willingness to float to like units as needed.
