Join the growing ROJO Car Wash team! We are a family-owned and operated business based in Norwood, MA. Established in 1967, ROJO Car Wash continues to serve the community with six locations, in Norwood, Walpole, Wareham, Attleboro and North Attleboro. ROJO Car Wash is committed to providing a top notch experience for our customers and offers quality services including detailing and an unlimited car wash program.
Our growing Maintenance team has an opening for a Car Wash Technician! Car Wash Technicians work with the Manager of Car Wash Operations to support all Rojo locations with repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Car wash technician experience preferred, but not required — willing to train the right candidate.
- Background in fields like electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, automotive repair, or general maintenance is highly beneficial.
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting.
- Plumbing skills, such as installing and maintaining pipes, valves, and water systems.
- Familiarity with motors, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
- Comfort working with automated systems and basic computer-controlled equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts (50 lbs+).
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with climbing ladders, bending, and standing for long periods.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed. Typical work week is Tuesday - Saturday
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
This is a full-time opportunity and requires a valid state driver's license. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $26 - $30/hour annually depending on experience. Rojo also offers benefit programs including medical and dental insurance (company pays 50%), and one free car wash a week for their vehicle. Check out our website at
