Facility Maintenance Technician

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join a leading Company located in the Andover, MA surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

The 1st-Shift Facility Maintenance Technician provides general upkeep and basic repairs for plant and office facilities, primarily at the Andover facility, while also supporting additional buildings as needed.


Job Responsibilities:

• Working the M-TH 1st Shift, this position handles routine facilities issues and basic equipment troubleshooting ranging from electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.
• Follows work orders and/or other general instructions, conducts inspections, logs completed work, and offers limited janitorial support (e.g., trash removal, floor cleaning) when workload permits or support is required.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent (trade certification or 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred), can work independently and efficiently, demonstrate basic critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, and are proficient with hand/power tools and basic electrical/mechanical systems.
• The ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Interim clearance is required to start the position.
• No degree required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of facilities experience.
• 2+ years of experience with general maintenance.
