Clinical Physician – Inpatient Psychiatry UT Southwestern Medical Center – Dallas, TX Job Summary Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care, supervise residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees within our University Hospital Psychiatry team. Responsibilities Deliver direct inpatient patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. Teach and supervise psychiatry residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees. Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives in inpatient psychiatry. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency in Psychiatry. Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry. Eligible for Texas medical licensure. Training in interventional psychiatry (ECT, ketamine‑based therapies, and TMS) is a plus but not required.
