Laundry Aide

We are Regency Care of Central Oregon, a skilled nursing community centrally located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are looking for caring & compassionate individuals to join our team. Starts at $20.00 an hour As a Laundry Aide, you will assist in all aspects of laundering resident clothing and facility linens. You will: Fold and distribute clean linens. Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens. Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees. Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents. Benefits Read, write, speak and understand English.
