Deburr Operator-3rd Shift

Shift: Third

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Functions:

• Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools
• Cleans interior surfaces of holes using reamer or burr whip
• Lift and position metal parts on bench
• Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools
• Verify dimensions and radii, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers
• Ensure organized and clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned and necessary

Position Requirements:

Skills Required:

• Excellent attendance record
• Experience a plus but not necessary
• Ability to use vibratory hand tools for extended periods of time
• Must be able to use necessary hand tools to properly perform job
• Must be able to burr parts in a safe and efficient manner
• Exercise good housekeeping practices
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions involving wrist/arms/hands

Education and Experience Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a parts finisher, preferred
