Gloricare is hiring qualified and compassionate caregivers in the Baltimore area to support older adults and a mixed client population, with opportunities to start immediately. Caregivers should be reliable, willing to complete fingerprinting and a background check, and have a reliable vehicle for client transportation when needed. This role offers day shifts, weekend coverage, and flexible rotating schedules, with care coordination and support from the office manager, care coordinator, registered nurse, and family representative.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and Activities of Daily Living support.
- Offer companionship and safety monitoring.
- Prepare meals and provide household support.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, occasional errands, and regular community activities.
- Document care accurately.
- Communicate with families and care coordination contacts.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of home caregiving experience.
- Home health aide or caregiver training.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with Activities of Daily Living support, medication reminders, dementia care, care documentation, and infection control.
- Empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills.
