Job Summary Live Nation is seeking a Regional Assistant Box Office Manager to support ticketing operations for concert venues across the US. The role requires strong organizational skills, staff management, and guest‑relations experience, and involves managing day-to-day box‑office operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Core Duties Serve as the ticketing contact for events at assigned venue(s)/location(s). Develop strong working relationships with Live Nation promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and affiliated partners. Partner with Box Office Managers on training, scheduling, and day‑to‑day supervision of personnel. Ensure Box Office staff adheres to ticket‑operations policies and procedures. Collaborate with internal departments and external event personnel to address all ticketing needs. Participate in nightly box‑office operations during events (ticket sales, reporting, ticket scanning, etc.). Create a positive collaborative work environment and maintain staff morale. Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively resolve issues. Facilitate open communication with Box Office Managers, staff, and all other venue departments. Event Management Duties Build and maintain events for assigned venue(s) or locations within the appropriate ticketing software. Collaborate with talent buyers, tour personnel, and internal staff on event programming, reporting, ticket holds, and other details. Work with Marketing, Production, Talent, artist management, and label representatives to set up events, place holds, process orders, and release tickets. Monitor ticket inventory and coordinate with the pricing team to dynamically price tickets for maximum revenue. Coordinate with Ancillary Product team, Venue General Managers to create and optimize ancillary products. Ensure ADA‑compliant ticketing practices. Accounting/Financial Duties Maintain accurate box‑office accounting records and archives in coordination with stakeholders. Ensure staff adheres to cash‑handling policies and procedures. Perform safe reconciliation, prepare deposits, and run daily financial reporting. Actively participate in event settlements as needed. Other Duties Monitor all ticketing software and hardware and report issues promptly. Embrace new ticketing technology provided by Ticketmaster (TM1 Entry, TM1 Sales, TM1 Events, etc.). Stay current on key ticketing trends in the entertainment industry. Attend relevant meetings, discussions, and conferences as the venue’s ticketing lead. Assist in the accurate and timely flow of event and general venue information both intra‑departmentally and to the public. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Required Qualifications Proven experience in box‑office or ticketing management. Availability for a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays). Willingness and ability to travel as needed. Proficiency in cash handling. Strong leadership, management, and customer‑service skills. Appreciation and respect for diverse cultures, music genres, and artistic expressions. High school diploma or equivalent. Hands‑on experience in live event operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.). Preferred Qualifications In‑depth knowledge of ticketing systems, especially Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager, and the TM1 suite. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational abilities including prioritization, multitasking, and time management. Professional communication skills and email etiquette.
