Retail Sales Associate Assists customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions. Overview Retail Sales Associate – Assists customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions. Responsibilities Drives sales through engagement of customers. Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Works with fellow co‑workers and management to keep the retail space clean and always organized. Maintains product on the sales floor and replenishes backstock throughout the assigned shift. Operates a point‑of‑sale register and accepts credit cards, cash, comps, or other payment methods for retail items. Verifies the identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items. Exhibits conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently delivers positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees. Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. Performs any other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma At least one (1) year of retail experience, including cashiering Must have or be able to obtain a Casino Employee Registration (CER) license upon hire Good verbal and written communication skills required Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Excellent customer service skills preferred Ability to stand extended periods of time Pay Range USD $15.92 - USD $15.92 /Hr. Tipped Position This position does not earn tips.
