An overview of this position entails preparing nutritional and attractive meals for clients and staff at the Life Adjustment Program.

Essential duties and responsibilities include demonstrating ethical and professional behavior that align with the values of the Hilltop's Life Adjustment Program, completing basic meal specials, daily prep cooking duties, basic soups, sauces, and desserts from scratch and to the Food Service Manager's specifications, preparing resident meals per individualized care plans, following all Mesa County and Colorado Department of Health regulations to proper food handling including proper hand washing, temperature logs, and sanitizing of food service equipment, ensuring food and supplies are at correct temperature and condition when received, rotating and stocking supplies according to health codes and Food Service Manager's specifications, assisting with catering duties as needed, assisting with cleaning, sanitizing, and safely storing dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, bus tubs, etc. Deep cleaning, sweeping, and mopping as assigned, inspecting and maintaining proper chemicals for the dishwasher.

More specifically, in this role we request this position requires some specific skills that we hope you can bring.

Education and experience: High school or equivalent preferred, plus one year of related experience. Minimum 18 years of age required.

• De-Escalation Training (preferred)

Qualifications

Education: High School or better.

Experience: High school or equivalent preferred, plus one year of related experience. Minimum 18 years of age required.

Licenses & Certifications: Food Handler's Card, Colorado ID Card.

Preferred: CPR/First Aid.
