Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Orange, California location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with Monday-Friday hours and possible weekend rotations.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments when required
- Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- California state phlebotomy license (CPT) or pending application
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass color blindness screening
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
