Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Akron, OH. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within a construction environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electrical codes, the ability to interpret technical diagrams, and the skill to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team. Job Type: Contract Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE Responsibilities: Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and switches. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to ensure system safety and functionality. Ensure all electrical installations comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Qualifications: Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a construction or commercial setting. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical schematics. Possession of necessary hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the trade. Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Akron, OH area. Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to site safety. Physical Requirements: Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and poles safely. Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and construction environments. Ability to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time. Pay Transparency: The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
