- Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized treatment strategies that help them reach their functional goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
- Integrate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals-including OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff-to ensure comprehensive care
- Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their loved ones on techniques to facilitate ongoing therapy success at home
- Track Progress: Continuously monitor and document patient improvement, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
- Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and fully supported
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
- NBCOT certification mandatory
