Executive Meetings Manager As an Executive Meeting Manager , you will manage and coordinate small to mid-sized group meetings and events, from initial booking through execution. You’ll serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring all event details are planned and communicated effectively across hotel departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities You will build excellent relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations in order to generate short-term business for the hotel. Your daily tasks will include booking and detailing small, short-term group business; overseeing small group rooming lists; and creating contracts, group resumes, and BEOs. Your boss is the Director of Sales. An EMM position is a great first manager role in the sales department because you learn about all aspects of sales, catering, and CS, as well as the operation of the entire hotel. This position can set you up for a progressive career in the sales discipline, including learning about new market segments, tackling larger hotels, serving as Director of Sales, and even working as a national salesperson or third-party planner. Education & Experience Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have: A college degree or two years of hotel experience Previous experience in a similar or related position Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications What You’ll Need to Succeed Eligible to work in the United States Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
