Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in surgical and patient care settings. The position involves working in a local setting with specific qualifications and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10-Hour shifts (Monday - Thursday)
• Shift Hours: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• On-call required: Rotating after-hours and weekends

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certification
• Travel experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience
• Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
• Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

Skills and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and may include, but are not limited to:

• Abdominal and Vaginal Hysterectomy
• Administration of blood products
• Ankle Fusion
• Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
• Appendectomy and Cholecystectomy
• Cardiac Monitoring
• Laparoscopic assisted procedures
• Scrubbing for various surgical specialties including General Surgery, Gynecology, and Orthopedic Surgeries
• Wound Management

Unit Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 14 surgeries
• Number of Operating Rooms: 4
