Safety is paramount, and your role involves adhering to safety standards to protect yourself and others. Pay Range: $15-$25/hr based on skill demonstrated during weld test Paid weekly Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Understand welding symbols and select proper materials. Locate pieces approved by Quality Control and gather necessary equipment. Clean welded pieces for further processing. Follow all safety, QA/QC, and OSHA regulations. Work overtime and maintain punctual attendance. Perform additional functions as needed. Qualifications: 1-2 years of welding experience. Ability to read welding symbols and structural drawings. Pass a tape measure test. Pass an unlimited thickness groove plate test in various positions using FCAW. Ability to carbon arc gouge back sides of joints. Physical Demands: Lift at least 50 pounds frequently. Work may require overtime, weekends, bending, and working in challenging positions. Tolerance for temperature fluctuations, dust, and noise.
