Content Editor

Bullfinch Recruitment

Content Editor Opportunity

Bullfinch Recruitment is working with a fast-growing global gaming company to find a creative and detail-focused Content Editor to join their team. If you love finding the right words, turning complex ideas into simple messages and creating content that genuinely connects with an audience, this could be a great opportunity for you. You'll be working across a variety of campaigns, communications and customer-facing experiences, bringing ideas to life through engaging, clear and effective copy. You'll work closely with creative, strategy and other internal teams, playing an important role in shaping content from the initial brief through to delivery. What You'll Be Doing

Create clear, engaging and persuasive copy across promotional, customer and marketing communications. Adapt content for different brands, channels, audiences and customer touchpoints. Come up with creative ideas and concepts that bring campaigns and promotions to life. Work closely with creative and design teams to make sure copy and visuals work seamlessly together. Keep the customer experience front of mind, making sure content is clear, intuitive and easy to understand. Take complex briefs, campaign requirements and mechanics and turn them into simple, engaging customer-facing content. Make sure all content stays consistent with brand tone of voice, terminology, formatting and quality standards. Review and edit copy carefully, with a sharp eye for accuracy, consistency and detail. Collaborate with strategists, designers and other stakeholders to deliver content against campaign objectives and deadlines. Take feedback on board and use campaign insights and learnings to continually improve content. Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a consistently high standard of work. What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is creative, curious and genuinely enjoys working with words. Someone who can take a brief, understand what it's trying to achieve and turn it into content that is clear, engaging and on-brand. You'll ideally have: Previous experience in copywriting, content writing, content editing or a similar role. Strong written English and excellent attention to detail. The ability to adapt your tone and writing style for different audiences and channels. Experience turning complex information or briefs into straightforward, engaging content. An understanding of how good content contributes to the wider customer or user experience. A creative mindset and the confidence to bring your own ideas to the table. Experience working alongside designers, strategists, marketers or other creative teams. The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. A positive and collaborative approach to feedback and continuous improvement. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Experience within gaming, digital, consumer, technology, entertainment or another fast-paced environment would be beneficial, but we're open to hearing from candidates with a range of relevant backgrounds. Why Join? You'll be joining a growing global gaming business at an exciting stage of its journey, with the opportunity to work across a variety of creative projects and make a real impact on the content customers see and interact with. If you're someone who enjoys combining creativity with clear communication, loves getting stuck into a good brief and wants the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team, we'd love to hear from you.
