Looking for a dynamic and fast-paced role in the restaurant industry? Toast Coffee + Kitchen in Port Jefferson Station, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Food Runner to join our team. What You’ll Do As a Host/Food Runner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and seating guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Managing reservations and waitlists efficiently.
- Assisting servers by delivering food orders promptly and accurately to tables.
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or in the restaurant industry.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
