We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture where each person can experience a sense of belonging.Join us on our One Perrigo journey as we evolve to win in self-care.Description OverviewThe Continuous Improvement Engineer provides technical support as it relates to incident/deviation investigationsfor all commercialized products at Perrigo facilities within Michigan.Scope of the RoleProvide technical expertise and support to identify root causes of incidents and deviationsDevelop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence of incidents and deviationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate investigations and ensure timely resolution of issuesConduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of improvement in manufacturing processesUtilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement initiativesCollect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvementStay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance continuousimprovement efforts.Support ODR activities by helping define base equipment conditions, inspection points, and lubrication standards.Partner with operations and maintenance to identify and eliminate sources of contamination and hard to access areas.Provide technical guidance to ensure ODR routines strengthen equipment reliability and align with continuous improvement objectives.Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.Knowledge of principles, concepts and practices in pharmaceutical sciences and manufacturing processes.Well-developed interpersonal, organization and communication skills, ability to work effectively with staffmembers at all levels, strong technical writing skills, familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations.Experience with operator focused reliability programs (ODR, Autonomous Maintenance, TPM) preferred.Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, including experience with investigations and/or developing andrecommending process improvements.Computer literacy with a working knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), and SAP experience preferred.Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal guidance and to meet project deadlines.BenefitsWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
