American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum position at a high-volume, high-census facility with high-risk OB patients, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency. Requirements Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of Mother-Baby / Post Partum RN experience required High-risk obstetric care experience required Magnesium administration experience required Epic EMR experience required (hard stop) Experience with Pitocin, Foley catheter, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal care required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum unit at a large-volume, high-census hospital Diverse patient population with a focus on high-risk obstetric care Standard caseload of 4 couplets Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM 6 weekend days required per contract Floating required to partner campuses for Postpartum units and Labor & Delivery for 2nd-hour recovery Epic EMR required Provides postpartum care to couplets following delivery, including management of high-risk obstetric conditions Experience with JADA device is preferred Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Former permanent staff of any Providence Swedish facility must be separated for at least 3 months and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Former permanent staff of non-Swedish Providence facilities are eligible after a 3-month separation period 13-week contract Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-715823 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
