Responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities, and free play. Ensures that both JCPRD and KDHE guidelines are followed. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized program. Effectively communicate with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers. Must Exhibit Initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted. Display professionalism always. Provide excellent customer service. Attend all required in-service trainings and meetings. Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director Salary: $12.00 per hour. Locations are at various elementary schools in the Gardner School District. Gardner: Monday - Friday, 7:00 -8:30 a.m. and/or 3:00-6:00 p.m. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity. Job Requirements Minimum age of 16 years and older. Some experience with children. Pass KBI background check. Preferred Job Requirements: Some experience working with children 5-12 years. JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.
