Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Manual Machinist based in Cedar Hill, TX. The Manual Machinist will operate and manage manual machines to produce precision parts in compliance with technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining machines, selecting appropriate tools, measuring and inspecting finished components for accuracy, and troubleshooting equipment as required. Collaboration with team members and adherence to safety protocols are essential aspects of the role. Qualifications * Proficiency in operating manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment * Strong understanding of reading blueprints and technical drawings * Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges * Knowledge of material properties and machining processes * Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to ensure precision * Commitment to safety standards and best practices in a machining environment * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus * Previous experience as a manual machinist is highly desirable THIS IS NOT A CNC JOB.
