Shop Technician

Title : Shop Technician
Location: Reno, NV 89502
Duration: 06 months
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/Hour

• As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
• You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• You will perform complex machine set up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• You will be responsible for proposing measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and calibrating fabricated parts, or units to meet product specifications.
• You will identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair them as necessary.
• Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency
• Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations
• Inspect and test work for quality
• Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment
• Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed
• Stage job materials for production according to procedure
