Registered Nurse

DaVita is hiring a Registered Nurse at Pipestone Dialysis Clinic Dialysis experience not required. We will train you! Operational hours: MWF 5:30 AM – 6:30 PM / TTHS 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Schedule: 3–4 days per week, 10–12 hours/day (every other Saturday, closed on Sundays) Extensive training: first 9–12 weeks group and 1:1 hands‑on training; may take place at a facility other than your assigned home clinic Details & Benefits Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash out Support for you and family: family resources, EAP counseling, Headspace, backup child and elder care, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, and more Growth opportunities: Charge Nurse, Nurse Preceptor, Home Therapies Flexible schedule required; work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Registered Nurse Daily Responsibilities 30% Supervising and performing direct patient care including vital signs, dialysis initiation and termination, documentation, physical assessment, order transcription, and lab work 20% Providing dialysis therapy – planning per physician orders, ultrafiltration, safety checks, medication administration, and proper documentation 20% Analyzing patient assessments, lab data, and communicating issues to physicians and supervisors 15% Assessing patient and family learning readiness; providing education on renal disease, dialysis treatment, and care management; developing care plans and progress notes Requirements 12 months RN experience Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school; BSN or a three‑year diploma from an accredited program may substitute Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, Med‑Surg, Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN), or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is helpful but not required Wage Range: $33.00–$46.00 per hour.
