Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position, open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit assignment
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• 3 on-call shifts per schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• RRT certification preferred
• CRT certification preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skilled in airway management devices and suctioning
• Experienced in extubation procedures
• Proficient in nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Tracheostomy care and management skills required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
