Job Description:

The team at Fulldraw is looking for a dynamic person to join us at the winery! Fulldraw began in 2012 when Connor McMahon jumped on the opportunity to acquire a 100-acre vineyard site in the Templeton Gap of west side Paso Robles. He and Rebecca met later that year. With six years of winemaking and farming experience at adjacent property, Booker Vineyard, Connor understood that with is limestone soils and cooling maritime influences, this was a place where the Rhone varieties he loved would thrive. Connor works closely with crew members following organic and regenerative farming practices in order to best take advantage of the sites demanding soil and extreme exposures. Fulldraw aims to create a sustainable and healthy environment for each and every vine in order for the resulting fruit to translate into beautifully balanced wines that fully express the unique place that is their home.

As our Hospitality Director, you will play an important role interacting with our guests by providing an engaging and educational experience with gracious and innovative hospitality, making each guest feel important and at home. As part of the face of the brand, you’ll share the Fulldraw story and inform visitors about our wines and the place which they come from. We aim to create a seamless experience for each group from booking their tasting, providing concierge services and recommendations about our amazing area, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable impression of our wines and brand. We’re looking for a collaborative, excellent communicator to join our small team who is personable and knowledgeable, making tastings both fun and educational!

Key Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for all guests to share our passion about our wine
• Be an excellent communicator and be a part of a positive, respectful and passionate team, that can be felt by our customers
• Share detailed knowledge of Fulldraw’s wines, label stories, and history during intimate tastings, tailored to each specific guest
Assist with off site and special events
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations including opening, closing, and maintaining cleanliness of facilities
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handling daily interactions with guests by both email and phone, solving guest inquiries with professionalism and gracious hospitality
• Operate POS for wine and merchandise and reservation platform (Redchirp and Grapegears)
Handle direct to consumer fulfillment, communicating with recipient and ensuring their package is delivered timely

What We’re Looking For
• Full-time: Thursday through Monday
• A team player with a positive, go-getter attitude and a passion for wine and hospitality
• Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests of all backgrounds
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 - 10 hours per shift
• Capability to lift and move 40 pounds
• Ability to open, handle, and pour wine bottles throughout the shift
• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

Initial pay will be hourly with potential salary position depending on experience.
