This position requires a dedication to providing excellent patient care in a surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in a variety of surgical procedures and ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.Key Responsibilities:\n \n Prepare and maintain the operating room environment by ensuring all equipment is functional and sterile.\n Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.\n Monitor patient vitals and provide appropriate care before, during, and after surgical procedures.\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-operative care.\n Work Schedule:\n \n Rotating shifts: 5 days of 8-hour shifts and 2 days of 12-hour shifts.\n Weekend commitment: 4 shifts in a 6-week schedule.\n Holiday coverage as required and scheduled.\n On-Call Requirements:\n \n Participation in on-call rotations: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time.\n Qualifications:\n \n Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.\n BLS certification required.\n Experience in an operating room setting preferred.\n First-time travelers are welcome.\n \n If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced surgical environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN).\n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID #38208416.
