Coordinator, Data Quality & Operations

This is a 100% on-site role, requiring five days per week in the office at our warehouse. About the Role Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management and building systems, is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The role is critical to ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations for international shipments. Responsibilities Coordinate consolidation of shipments for international customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Pull relevant data from various sources and transmit to freight forwarders for shipment arrangements. Communicate effectively with Customer Service Representatives and freight forwarders to arrange freight, keeping all parties informed. Collaborate with the warehouse team to schedule dock times for carriers, facilitating smooth loading and timely dispatch. Provide onsite support for pack and holds, ensuring all requirements are met. Manage escalation communications to operations, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed. Use Salesforce to update comments, download attachments, and maintain accurate records of shipping activities. Qualifications High school/GED or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in leading a team. Proven experience in a warehouse environment with strong understanding of warehouse operations. Familiarity with warehouse shop floor operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Previous experience working with freight forwarders and understanding shipping logistics is a plus. Travel Requirements None.
