Where the chemistry happens…

We are seeking a professional like you to join our Isocyanates Logistics Team (Cluster 10) in Geismar, LA reporting to the Chemical Monomers Supply Chain organization. Our team primarily supports the MDI (diphenylmethane diisocyanate) value chain, a world-scale chemical complex, in its final phase of expansion - you will be a critical team member to the expansion's success! Note our team conducts Formic Acid loading too.

As Logistics Engineer II, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations as well as own strategic improvements related technology, capital, digitization, and optimization.

As a Logistics Engineer II (Geismar), You Create Chemistry By...

• Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial Teams to achieve high performance in safety, quality, reliability, and customer service, including owning the area's management of change program.
• Supporting in developing area's annual capital plan and serving as manufacturing representative for capital and OPEX projects. Ensuring capital project plan align with MDI Expansion logistics concept and needs.
• Developing and tracking asset effectiveness and first-pass quality data to implement cost savings, optimization, and digitalization improvements.
• Serving as liaison to Maintenance and Asset Effectiveness organizations to set area priorities as well as collaborate on critical spare parts and risked-based maintenance strategies.
• Collaborating with EHS organization to meet all regulatory requirements and KPIs, including leading Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Safety Reviews, incident Investigations, etc. You will also support in preparing for internal Responsible Care Audit in 2025.

If you...

• Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (Chemical, Refining, Petrochemical)
• Prefer: Experience in Shipping/logistics
• Have strong organizational skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
