CDL A Truck Driver

McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring a 1st Shift CDL A Driver in Bernhards Bay, NY! We are seeking a dependable and organized CDL A Truck Driver to join our team and ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries. This position offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with customers while representing a well-established company. Pay is $24 per hour based on experience. Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Fridays; some hours may vary based on business needs. As a CDL A Truck Driver you will help ensure our product is delivered in a safe and timely manner. You will have the opportunity to build long standing relationships with our customers during deliveries. Responsibilities: Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs. Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs. Ensure trailer hitch is properly and securely attached to the tractor unit Communicate with dispatch as needed Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Adhere to company rules and regulations Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions Comply with ICC and DOT regulations Make safety a priority at all times Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) Matching Health, Vision and Dental Insurance Employee Assistance Program Health Savings Account Life Insurance Paid Time Off Why Work for McIntosh!
