Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | 4x10s, Monday–Thursday, 06:45–19:15 | On-site | Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Deliver comprehensive nursing services in a Level II Trauma Operating Room environment consisting of 18 ORs
• Support a wide range of surgical procedures including trauma, neurosurgery, robotic (Da Vinci Xi), urology, vascular, open heart, general surgery, orthopedic trauma, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams and serve as an accountable provider for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care
• Demonstrate cognitive and psychosocial competency specific to the patient population served, including neonates through geriatrics
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Nevada State RN license required prior to start date
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Trauma OR setting
• Competency assessment (CMP) completed within 1 year of start date (applicable to Pre-op/Recovery, PACU, OR, and SDS roles)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures, including Da Vinci Xi systems
• Familiarity with neurosurgical procedures such as ACDF, spinal fusions, and cranial procedures
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced trauma center environment comparable to a Level I facility
