Travel Physical Therapist – Conyers, GA TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 12‑week assignment in Conyers, Georgia. The role requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and involves acute care patient care. The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience; exceptionally qualified individuals with 6 months of experience may be considered. Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. You will also: Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the setting, following guidelines for facility billing Understand and comply with applicable PT board rules and state regulations Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused care Apply knowledge of adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care, modifying it as indicated based on patient condition Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Minimum 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred); new graduates encouraged BLS certification State‑specific PT license Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty for extended periods ABPTS certification (additional certifications may be required before assignment) Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
