Position Details:
Job Title: RN – MS/Tele Float
Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift – 3 x 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week
Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• PCU experience highly preferred
• BLS & ACLS (AHA) required
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Must hold a current New York RN license
• At least one completed travel assignment (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Float Units: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, PCU, and Acute Inpatient Rehab (Ortho/Neuro)
Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
Patient Population Includes:
Sepsis, COPD, CHF, post-operative cases, general Med-Surg, post-op plastics, and ALC patients.
Common Drips/Medications:
Heparin drips, magnesium and potassium riders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to prioritize, delegate, and maintain patient safety at all times. Charge nurse responsibilities may be required.
