Your Mission: Architect, Optimize, and Secure Client IT Infrastructures

As an Advanced IT Technician, you will be at the forefront of managing, optimizing, and securing the IT environments of our diverse client base. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues, implement strategic projects, and provide expert guidance that ensures our clients' systems run seamlessly and securely. Your role will be a blend of hands-on technical work, strategic planning, and direct client interaction.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Network Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Expertly diagnose and resolve complex network issues across diverse LAN/WAN environments, including advanced configurations of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems. Ensure optimal network performance and uptime.

• Infrastructure Management: Proactively monitor, maintain, and upgrade critical network hardware and software, implementing best practices to enhance system reliability, security, and efficiency.

• Project Implementation Leadership: Lead or significantly contribute to IT infrastructure projects, including seamless network expansions, critical system migrations, and strategic cloud integrations. Manage project timelines and deliverables with precision.

• Client & Team Collaboration: Serve as a primary technical point of contact, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external clients to provide advanced technical support, deliver tailored solutions, and conduct essential user training.

• Security & Compliance Fortification: Implement, manage, and enforce robust network security protocols. Conduct regular security audits, manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and ensure strict compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Advanced System Administration: Administer and optimize Windows Server environments (2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, and oversee cloud services on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Documentation & Reporting Excellence: Maintain meticulous records of network configurations, incident resolutions, and system changes. Generate comprehensive performance and status reports for both internal review and client communication.

What You'll Bring: Your Advanced Technical Prowess & Experience

We are seeking a highly capable IT professional with a proven track record of excellence. Your qualifications should include:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, system administration, and comprehensive IT support, ideally within an MSP environment.

• Networking Mastery: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs, . Proven experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware (Ubiquiti experience is a plus ).

• Windows Server Expertise: Proficiency in Windows Server 2022/2025 administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and core services management.

• Cloud Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS for infrastructure deployment, management, and security.

• Virtualization Acumen: Solid experience with Microsoft Hyper-V for virtual machine deployment, management, and troubleshooting.

• Cybersecurity Vigilance: Strong knowledge of endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), firewall management, and patch management strategies.

• Monitoring & Documentation Skills: Familiarity with network monitoring tools and exceptional documentation skills for technical configurations and incident reports.

• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: A superior ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, coupled with the adaptability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Client-Focused Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical clients.

• Certifications (A Plus): While not strictly required, relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure, AWS certifications, or CCNA are highly valued and a significant plus.
