Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Creekside Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital — and we're not looking for just anyone. We're building something special here: the "Disneyland" of veterinary medicine in West Lafayette, and that starts at the front desk.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15 - 22per hour, for each hour worked
  • We have tiered levels for this role — most entry level candidates start in the $15–$16/hour range, and how quickly you grow your skills determines how quickly you grow your pay.
  • This is a place where your effort and growth is directly rewarded.
• Schedule: This is a full-time position , with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday–Saturday . Shifts are structured as 3.5 days Monday–Friday plus rotating Saturdays. No on-call requirements.

M inimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Impromed,  preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
