Automotive Service Management Experience Required

A well-established dealership in the Fort Worth market is looking for a skilled, motivated  Automotive Service Director to lead our service department to the next level. Responsibilities - Service Director:

• Oversee daily operations in the service department and keep everything running smoothly
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of technicians, advisors, and support staff
• Cultivate a positive, team-first work   environment where people want to give their best
• Ensure top-tier repair quality, fast turnaround, and an exceptional customer experience
• Manage workflow, technician dispatch, and productivity targets
• Handle warranty processes, OEM compliance, and customer escalations professionally
• Track and improve KPIs – hours per RO, ELR, CSI, and overall profitability
• Collaborate with parts and sales to keep operations seamless

Qualifications/Requirements - Service Director:

• Service Management experience at a franchise dealership required
• Lead by example and bring out the best in your team
• Know how to balance efficiency with quality and customer care
• Understand flat rate systems, workflow management, and technician motivation
• Are proficient with DMS tools (Xtime, Reynolds, etc.) and OEM platforms
• Communicate clearly and handle challenges with a calm, solutions-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Must pass pre-employment screening
