About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 30 Experience: 2+ years of acute care CT experience License: ARRT (CT), WI License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with strokes, brain CTAs, and ability to work independently. Canon and Toshiba experience highly preferred. IV starts and CT perfusions experience preferred. Description: We are looking for a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The facility includes 60 beds and is a Level IV Trauma Center. You will work with two CT scanners shared back-to-back with a control room. The average number of patients is approximately 20 scans per shift. Patient types include outpatient, emergency department, inpatients, and Level II Trauma scans. You may encounter various age groups, primarily adults, but occasionally infants and toddlers. Common diagnoses include strokes, brain CTA, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolisms. Experience with the patient types above is required. You will work with a supportive team including two other CT Techs during the day and additional staff across various roles to assist. The technology used includes EPIC for EMR and PACS software. Unit-specific equipment includes Canon Scanners with 80 slice and 40 slice capabilities. A set schedule with weekend rotation is expected. No on-call duties are required. If your scheduled day falls on a holiday, you will be expected to work. Scrub color should be any solid, professional color, without graphics or logos. The unit culture is fun and close-knit.
