Overview

We're searching for a Senior Copywriter who will contribute to the conception, development, and execution of compelling copy and creative concepts for integrated, cross-channel initiatives, including large web initiatives, online advertising, and digital marketing. Individuals should possess strong conceptual, writing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into engaging, effective creative solutions. Senior Copywriters collaborate closely with art directors and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality work that supports client goals and contributes to the overall creative excellence of the team.

• Partner with art directors, planning, and account teams to develop creative, strategically sound solutions for client, in-house, and new business needs.
• Manage assigned projects from concept through execution, ensuring deliverables meet creative objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Write and develop promotional materials with minimal supervision, incorporating feedback and direction as needed.
• Explore new and compelling ways to present copy and bring creative concepts to life across channels.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of copy annotation and apply it effectively to communicate creative intent, functionality, and executional details.
• Collaborate with fellow writers and creative partners to strengthen ideas, refine messaging, and maintain consistency across deliverables.
• Clearly communicate copy recommendations, creative rationale, and executional details to internal teams, suppliers, freelancers, and editorial partners.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, contributing thoughtful creative perspectives and articulating the rationale behind copy recommendations.
• Present work in an organized, engaging, and compelling manner.
• Understand the goals and objectives of assigned programs and ensure copy supports the broader strategy and communicates those goals effectively.
• Apply a strong understanding of audience needs, motivations, and aspirations to develop relevant, resonant, and impactful messaging.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Four-year degree
• 3-5 years' experience
• Creative agency experience desired; pharma agency, preferred
• DTC and HCP writing experience
• Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles
• Strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct marketing initiatives across mediums
• Experience with online and offline media preferred
• Candidate must be open to travel as needed

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $116,655.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
