Job Description This 13-week contract in Labor & Delivery at a hospital in Buckhannon, West Virginia offers a unique opportunity to work a 12-hour night shift within a specialized OB unit. You will be responsible for circulating in cesarean sections when needed, stabilizing and transporting newborns, and managing labor and postpartum patients. The setting includes 8 beds with a mix of labor, postpartum, and triage beds, supporting about 25-30 births per month. Expect to collaborate with an experienced team including nurse midwives and on‑call neonatologists. The role provides insights into advanced obstetric care while maintaining the pace of a busy maternity ward. Prepare to adapt to potential on‑call duty and occasional floating to MedSurg or ER for additional support, making each shift engaging and varied.
