Quick Facts Location: 1165 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95405 Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: Contract details provided upon application Schedule: 3 days/week, flexible scheduling during the week, 6:30 am – 4:30 pm Shift: Inpatient hospital coverage, 8 hours/day Hours per Week: 12 shifts per month (approximate) Employment Type: Locum, Contract Licensure/Certifications: Active CA license, DEA required, BC or BE in specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital clinical activity in trauma surgery or general surgery (current case logs preferred) Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable law Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do Provide inpatient trauma and general surgery support, excluding OR procedures Cover scheduled shifts with guaranteed 8 hours per shift Ensure all pre-approved overtime hours are logged accurately Maintain documentation for case logs and hospital privileges Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care during your shift Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards Complete shift notes and documentation as required What You Need Required: Active California medical license DEA registration Board-certified or eligible in trauma/general surgery Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in relevant specialty Current CV including all hospital affiliations Preferred: Previous experience in trauma surgery or acute inpatient care Familiarity with hospital privileging processes About the Assignment This assignment takes place at a prominent hospital in Santa Rosa, known for excellent patient care in trauma and general surgery.
