Salary: Pay ranges up to approx. $260K plus rank and productivity incentives

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Rheumatology Clinician and Educator for a full-time faculty role with a highly respected healthcare provider in the New York City metro area. This position offers the opportunity to provide outpatient clinical care, engage in inpatient consultations, and contribute to the academic growth of students, residents, and fellows. Key Responsibilities:

• Outpatient Practice: Deliver rheumatology care within multi-specialty settings, with potential to expand into a new specialty center nearby.
• Inpatient Consultations & Teaching: Conduct inpatient consults and participate in the training of medical students and clinical staff.
• Divisional Participation: Actively engage in divisional initiatives and support ongoing clinical research efforts as desired.

Requirements:

• Board Eligible/Certified in Rheumatology, with preference for candidates experienced in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Medical degree required, with eligibility for state licensing.
• Available to begin promptly.

Qualifications (Minimum and preferred):

• Years of Experience: Will consider Fellows on up
• Specialized experience: strongly prefer skills and experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound
• Prior Duties:
• Education: Prefer MD or similar
• Licenses: NY license or eligible
• Certifications: Board Eligible or Certified in Rheumatology
• Personality factors: This is in an underserved area so understanding that population would help to be a good fit.
• Systems used:
• Ideal Candidate Features: Experienced MD, BC and certified in rheumatology, licensed in NY, available to start quickly
