Job Description

• Location is Outpatient location for St. John Moross Rheumatolgy/Novi, Southfield, & Rochester Endocrinology
• 7 am - 5:30 pm
• No Weekends, no holidays
• On call as needed
• Hybrid

Role Overview

As a Nurse Manager at Henry Ford Medical Group, the position is clinical leadership, staffing, scheduling, HR duties (payroll, corrective action, etc.), partnership with physicians/providers and leadership, ensure quality metrics are met, standardize workflows, lead processes to improve patient access, enhance the patient and employee experience, and strengthen collaboration across the clinics.

• Highly organized, adaptable leader who is comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced ambulatory healthcare environment. Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities across multiple clinic locations and specialties.
• Strong team player who can build collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing and clinical support staff, administrative teams, and leadership. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to navigate complex situations and communicate expectations clearly.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and alignment with leadership. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and appropriately escalate concerns. Experience in staff management, workflow improvement, scheduling, patient access, and operational performance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
• Three to five (3-5) years of progressively more responsible experience demonstrating leadership skills in a clinical setting.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or equivalent.
